Norsham Mohamad-Garcia is a visionary entrepreneur, cultural disruptor, and unorthodox strategist whose influence spans fashion, art, sports entertainment, and global business development. As the founder and driving force behind Miami Modest Fashion Week (MMFW)—the first Modest Fashion Week in the USA—she has redefined industries, built bridges across continents, and pioneered a movement blending creativity, commerce, and culture. Born in Linggi, Negeri Sembilan—one of Malaysia’s culturally rich states—she descends from the distinguished Bugis Linggi–Pagaruyung lineage, a heritage deeply rooted in leadership across literature, education, religion, and politics.
Now, with over three decades as an entrepreneur in the United States, she channels this legacy into a global mission: to empower communities, drive inclusive economic growth, and reshape narratives through purpose and resilience

As a self-taught art curator and consultant, Norsham is the visionary force behind Arts Kuala Lumpur, a groundbreaking platform she founded in 2013, which went on to become a Malaysian government-endorsed cultural initiative showcased in Australia and London. With unwavering dedication, she elevated Southeast Asian art to the global stage—most notably during one of the largest art events in Miami. Amidst giants like Art Basel, Art Miami, and SCOPE, she carved out her own space, creating independent venues that captured international attention. Her work has been featured in major media outlets, including a spotlight in The Wall Street Journal. Through every endeavor, Norsham has successfully positioned her home country, Malaysia, and its artists on the global stage—amplifying their voices through major international platforms. Drawing on extensive experience as a freelance agent and consultant, she has facilitated strategic partnerships and high-profile projects— From her role as an Associate Partner and Project Director for one of the world’s leading sports entertainment firms, Norsham led the execution of high-level corporate golf events for Fortune 500 and 1000 executives in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Trinidad and Tobago. Expanding her impact further, she served as a strategic consultant to the government of Indonesia, where she implemented a special sustainability-focused event during the G20 Summit—working closely as a consultant with the agency and the wife of Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism. Her work reflects a deep commitment to fusing global diplomacy, creative industries, and sustainable development.

Mohd Khairil Hisham bin Mohd Ashari
A distinguished cultural strategist and curator, Mohd Khairil Hisham bin Mohd Ashari stands at the intersection of heritage, fashion, and tourism. As Curator and Director of the Tuanku Ja'afar Royal Gallery, he preserves and elevates the royal legacy of Negeri Sembilan, one of the culturally rich states in Malaysia, blending historical narratives with modern relevance.
Hailing from one of Negeri Sembilan’s most prominent family lineages—Bugis Linggi and Pagaruyung—his heritage is rooted in a tradition of leadership across literature, education, and politics. This legacy shapes his work and inspires his commitment to cultural preservation and innovation.
A recognized authority in local culture and traditional textiles, Mohd Khairil is especially noted for his expertise in the heritage textiles of Negeri Sembilan, contributing to Malaysia’s identity on both national and international stages. He plays a vital role in cultural policymaking through his service on the State Tourism, Art and Heritage Committee and the Seremban City Council Tourism Committee.
In the fashion and lifestyle sector, he is a board member of the Malaysia Fashion, Modeling & Pageant Awards (MFMPA) 2025, and a judge for the Negeri Sembilan Miss Kebaya 2025, where timeless tradition meets contemporary poise. He also curated the acclaimed Timeless Elegance High Tea & Fashion Affair 2024, a refined cultural showcase of heritage and style.
Academically, Mohd Khairil contributes to shaping historical scholarship as a Board Member of Studies in the History Division at Universiti Sains Malaysia, for both the School of Humanities and the School of Distance Education. He also serves as an Industrial Mentor at INTI International University, guiding the next generation of cultural visionaries.
With a multidimensional portfolio, Mohd Khairil is a vital cultural ambassador—strategically positioning Negeri Sembilan and Malaysia within the global fashion and heritage landscape through a unique fusion of tradition, elegance, and forward-thinking diplomacy.
A proud Arabian of Moroccan lineage, born and raised in France. She is the eldest of seven siblings. Her father grew up in the Moroccan desert and left the country when he was 13 years old.
Her exposure to fashion, started as early when she worked part-time during high school for a small shoe company.
Her sharp talent for fashion and business was manifested when she came out with her draft shoe collections and sold them successfully. When she was seventeen years old, her father sadly asked her to quit her school to support the family. She was her father's Chief Operating Officer (COO) where she responsible as a designer, buyer, negotiator, and the production lead to manufacturing garments in South East Asia, Europe, which was sold wholesale to Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and United States.
In 2009, she started her journey in building her own career. Several of her accomplishments including:
- Nora was the FIRST FEATURE DESIGNER chosen by CITRUSS TV; The FIRST FASHION TV Channel in DUBAI and Arab Gulf.
- 600 pieces of her dresses were SOLD in ONE HOUR, on the MARKA VIP in Dubai.
- Her work has also been recognized by many FORTUNE 500 & 1000 CEOs from the Judges of Hollywood TV Series, Shark Tanks; The Queen of the QVC Laurie Grenier, Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Other A-List Celebrities including Renowned World Fashion Stylist; Ms. Jay, Super Model Naomi Campbell, World Designer Roberto Cavalli, The Team of The Next America TOP Model and Miss Universe and many more.
- RED DRESS CHARITY EVENT donated and auctioned for American Heart Association amongst other renowned Fashion Designers; Oscar Dela Renta, Donna Karan, Nicole Miller, and Custo Barcelona.
- As one of the Guest Speakers at Miami Modest Fashion Week amongst other Global Modest designers, leaders and influencers; Nora is a visionary designer at the forefront of the modest fashion movement, blending contemporary elegance with her rich cultural heritage. With a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship, she draws inspiration from global artistry, creating pieces that exude sophistication and purpose.
- She is married and currently residing in the city of Marseille and UAE.
Jeny graduated from ASRIDE ISWI Jakarta majoring in Fashion Design as the best graduate, her signatures are modern and progressive, making her work look stylish, unique and fresh. Jeny’s passion for fashion is getting bigger, as she continues to utilise the skills she picked up during her Bachelor Degree studies in Fashion Design at IKJ, Jakarta
Jeny Tjahyawati is an Indonesia renowned celebrity and award winning designer in the fashion industry focusing mainly on Moslem fashion. In recent years the Moslem fashion industry has become one of the
leading trend setting sectors. Based in Indonesia Jeny has contributed to the rise of Moslem fashion which has now become an integral role in the Indonesian Fashion World.
Jeny is the founder of @indonesiamodestfashionweek ; The FIRST Modest Fashion Week in Indonesia, the FIRST Indonesia Islamic Fashion Week and also Ramadan Fashion Show. Her can be seen at many prominient International Media publication including Elle Magazine Indonesia and British Vogue.
LEA KISS: Introducing the esteemed Fashion Director, who joined the team as an independent director in 2023. With an exceptional career trajectory, she has held roles as a Sony Recording Artist and served as a muse for Paco Rabanne. Collaborating with fashion luminaries like Roberto Cavalli, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Gianni Versace, she has left an indelible mark on the industry. Her creative endeavors have graced the screens of Fashion TV and earned partnerships with renowned brands such as LaPerla and Just Cavalli.
In 2019, she embarked on a new venture, launching the World Best Model Academy in Paris, which later expanded to Miami Beach, FL in 2021. Her leadership at the academy has nurtured aspiring models, including talents like Skarla Ali and Kiki Barth, who have made significant contributions to the global fashion landscape and media.
