STEP 1 | FASHION RUNWAY & TRADE SHOW REQUIREMENT
ELIGIBILITY to participate in MIAMI MODEST Fashion Week requires a minimum of two years in business for companies or designers.
EXCEPTIONS may be made for businesses operating for less than two years, subject to review by the MMFW Organization Council based on other supporting experiences or criteria.
Collections should showcase modest men’s or women’s ready-to-wear, haute couture, resort wear, leisure wear, or activewear. Please review our STYLE CATEGORY
GROUP PARTICIPATION must be set up with one representative on behalf of the group. This can be done through a government agency or other designated representative
STEP 2 | FASHION RUNWAY & TRADE SHOW - APPLICATION PROCESS
Upon receiving your application and completed questionnaire, our team will review your submission. You will be notified within 7 business days via email regarding the status of your application and whether it has been accepted.
Applicants are asked to provide two industry-based references: Example a buyer or press write up.
Applicants may be asked to submit additional supporting information, especially for an International Participation.

These guidelines ensure that all designs align with the ethos of modest fashion while fostering a respectful and innovative environment.

Length Standards?
Length Standards: Skirts or shorts must extend 1-2 inches below the knee to maintain modesty in silhouette and form.I
Coverage?
Coverage: Cleavage exposure is strictly prohibited to uphold the modesty standards of the event.
Shoulder and Upper Body:?
Shoulder and Upper Body: Revealing skin around the shoulders or any part of the body above the knee is not permitted, ensuring a consistent approach to modest coverage.
Slit Restrictions?
Slit Restrictions: Open cut slits at the back and/or front of skirts or long dresses are not acceptable above the knees, as they contradict the modesty criteria set forth.
Form and Fit: ?
Form and Fit: Outfits should not overly accentuate the body or skin. Utilization of an outer coat or long coat is recommended to maintain a modest aesthetic during the Fashion Runway.
Material Transparency: ?
Material Transparency: The material of any garment must be non-transparent to avoid any unintended exposure, however , utilization of an outer coat or long coat is recommended to maintain a modest aesthetic during the Fashion Runway.
Headwear?
Headwear: Wearing hijab, headscarves, or turbans is optional, providing flexibility to participants from diverse backgrounds.
Muslimah Attire:?
Muslimah Attire: Hijabs must align with the standards of appropriate Muslim attire, respecting cultural and religious practices , including wearing a bustier outside of the dress is not permitted. Runway models must follow guidelines, including modest styling and specific nail measurements in accordance with Islamic principles.
For Trade Show, Exhibition, and Pop-Up Store:?
All showcased products should align with ethical and inclusive values, including skincare and cosmetics that are Halal, Kosher, or Plant-Based. Children’s clothing, food items, and religious books are not permitted.
